positron goes vintage sound. With our analog vintage setup, we will remix some songs with a unique instrument setup. So we will use only “VERMONA” Instuments from the GDR times with some additional newer effects. We are excited what will be the result. Some instruments were build end of the 70s in the GDR.

We played the Vermona E-Piano, Vermona Piano Strings, Vermona Formation 1, Vermona Synthesizer and drumsamples from Vermona DRM MK1 from 2002 and the Rhythmmachine ER9 from 1976. Additional we used Vermona effects like spring reverbs, two Vermona Phaser80 and Vermona DEG500 Digital Delay. Also we used the Vermona guitar amp VB30 and the bass amp VB30B.

For this little album we worked mostly analog. All instruments was played live and without MIDI. The mixing console was an Vermona 1642 from the late 80s . Some instruments we recorded over a Vermona mixing console 1222 from the early 80s. The final signal goes thru a tube preamp, some effects and finally to an TELEFUNKEN Magnethophon from 1972.
